How to set up the OneDrive for Business App on Windows.

ISSUE

How do I set up the OneDrive for Business to access my student or staff/faculty OneDrive?

ENVIRONMENT

OneDrive

RESOLUTION

1.  Log into your student account at http://student.cscc.edu or your staff/faculty account at http://mail.cscc.edu

2.  Click on the left-hand boxes to open the ribbon and choose OneDrive in the ribbon of the web site

3.  Click the Sync item(circled below) which should open the OneDrive for Business application.  Or alternatively, you can copy the complete URL in the address bar(circled in the screenshot below - make sure to copy the whole long URL in the address bar.) and paste that into the OneDrive for Business application where it says "Paste your library URL here."

4.   Change the location if you do not like where OneDrive will store the root folder (see screenshot above), and click "Sync Now."

5.  You can choose to then view your files or not which completes the configuration of the OneDrive on your PC.
