RESOLUTION

The following instructions apply to Windows 8. If you have ever attempted to connect this device to CSCC Wireless, follow these removal instructions first.

  • Click (or tap when using a touch screen) on the Windows network icon in the system try.
  • Verify, from the top of the menu, that Airplane Mode is turned off.
  • Right-click (or tap and hold when using a touch screen) on any instances of CSCC that appear in the list, and choose Forget this network if the option is presented.  If the Forget this network option is not presented, then the selected network does not need to be removed.

After 'CSCC' has been removed, follow the configuration steps below to connect to CSCC Secure Wireless successfully.

Configuration

  • Click (or tap when using a touch screen) on the Windows network icon in the system try.
  • Verify, from the top of the menu, that Airplane Mode is turned off.
  • From the list presented under Wi-Fi, select CSCC.
  • Ensure that Connect automatically is checked and click/tap Connect.

  • Afterward, you will be prompted to enter your CSCC Username and password.  This is the same username and password that is used for accessing Blackboard. When you are done, click/tap OK.
  • When prompted to verify the server, click/tap Connect.

Your computer should now be connected to the CSCC Secure Wireless network.
